Sheet Pan Chicken Shawarma Havarti Sandwich

If you’re looking for a bold, cheesy, and flavorful sandwich that’s sure to wow, this is it! My Sheet Pan Chicken Shawarma Havarti Sandwich combines roasted, spiced chicken shawarma, melty Havarti and Gouda cheese, and garlicky green tahini dressing on soft naan bread. Add some sun-dried tomatoes, pickles, and sprouts for texture and flavor, bake it to perfection, and you’ve got a sandwich that’s fun, vibrant, and completely irresistible!

Why You Should Try it:

This isn’t just your average sandwich—it’s a loaded melt packed with Middle Eastern-inspired flavors and textures. The roasted chicken shawarma, spiced with smoked paprika, turmeric, and chili flakes, pairs beautifully with creamy cheeses and the herby tahini dressing. Toasting everything together makes the flavors meld in the most amazing way.

Tips for the Perfect Shawarma Sandwich:

  1. Make It Your Own: If you don’t have time for the garlicky tahini, use store-bought Caesar dressing or garlic mayo mixed with basil pesto.
  2. Bread Matters: Homemade naan is my go-to, but ciabatta or any hearty bread will work well.
  3. Add Your Favorite Greens: Sprouts are great for crunch, but arugula or baby spinach would also work.
  4. Cheese Upgrade: I use Havarti and Gouda for their melt factor, but feel free to swap for what you love!

What to Serve It With

Pair this sandwich with sweet potato fries, a fresh green salad, or even a light soup for a complete meal.
